A antique large silver brooch by the Howard Sterling Company. The detail and design is really fantastic. This amazing brooch is hallmarked Sterling with the clover symbol of the Howard Sterling Company of Providence, Rhode Island. The company went through a few transitions of owners before 1891, when this name took hold. It had closed by 1902. It is approx 6.7 cm wide and weighs 10.5 grams. Excellent condition.
